BATTLE CREEK, Mich.--Led by a trio comprised of two sophomores and a freshman, the Adrian College men's golf team shot a collective score of 316 which is good for fourth place after Day 1 of the eight-school Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Championships Fall Championships held Friday here at the Bedford Valley Golf Course.
Adrian sophomore Mo Harb shaved 10 strokes off his last outing for a season's best 72 as an individual, and is in third place only two strokes from the lead.
Sophomore Andrew Skibski has a 77 (+5) which is good for 13th overall, followed closely by freshman Logan Heffner and sophomore Jack Stover who both have an identical 78 (+6) which is tied for 16th. Junior Zak Hart (83, T-33rd) also contributed to the team score, and sophomore Brandon McLean (86, T-39th) rounded out the Bulldogs fivesome.
The Bulldogs will complete their fall schedule at 10 a.m. Saturday with the final 18 holes of the MIAA Fall Championships.
