BATTLE CREEK, Mich.--The Adrian College men's golf team had a trio--sophomores Mo Harb, Andrew Skibski and freshman Logan Heffner--finish in the top-20, as the Bulldogs ended up in sixth place at the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Championships Fall Championships that concluded here at the Bedford Valley Golf Course on Saturday.
Skibski led the Bulldogs team score with a 36-hole total of 77 and 78 for 155 shots, which was tied for 11th overall and he also represented Adrian on the All-MIAA Second Team. The remaining fivesome were Heffner (78+78=156, T-14th), junior Zak Hart (83+79=162, 25th), sophomore Jack Stover (78+88=166, T-31st) and sophomore Brandon McLean (86+85=171, T-37th).
Harb competed as an individual for Adrian, leading the event's individuals with a 72+80=152 for seventh overall.
Hope College (298+295=593) edged Calvin College (297+302=599) by six shots for the team title, and Ben Van Scoyk from the latter was the MIAA Fall medalist with a 73+71=144.
Adrian will resume its schedule in the spring.
