@ACBulldogGolf Place Fifth at Third MIAA Jamboree at Wuskowhan Players Club

WEST OLIVE, Mich.--The Adrian College men's golf squad wrapped up its September schedule on Monday with a fifth-place showing at the third Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Jamboree at the Wuskowhan Players Club. The Bulldogs shot a team score of 309.

Freshman Brett McGugan earned his first team win for the Bulldogs with a 75, tying junior teammate Andrew Skibski for 12th overall. Other Adrian scores included freshmen Hayden Winch 79 (T-24th), Noah Kosal (80, T-29th) and senior Zak Hart (82, 33rd). Freshman Carter Clarke (95, 43rd) competed as an individual.

Calvin College took home the team title with a 285 to best host Hope College (289) by four strokes. The Knights' John Van Noord had a 69 for medalist in the 46-competitor field.

Adrian preps for the MIAA Fall Championships with the conference's fourth Jamboree on Monday, Oct. 2 (1 p.m.) at the Kalamazoo Country Club and hosted by Kalamazoo College.
