HARDEEVILLE, S.C.--The Adrian College men's golf team teed off the spring portion of its 2019-20 schedule on Monday with a 319 shot total at the Pfeiffer University Invitational held here at Hilton Head Lakes. The second 18-holes will take place on Tuesday, beginning at 9 a.m. Adrian is sixth out of 10 teams after the opening 18 holes.

Junior Brett McGugan and sophomore Jackson Tellerico led the Bulldogs "A" lineup with identical 78 scores for 6-over on the par-72, 6,955-yard course and a tie for 13th overall with 58 players. Senior Nolan Duda (79, T-17th), juniors Noah Kosal (84, T-38th), Hayden Winch (84, T-38th) and sophomore Grant Terris (91, 54th) rounded out the A-team.

In addition, Adrian fielded a B-squad that included freshmen Trevor Benoit (80, T-24th), Joe Kowatch (81, T-27th), Ryan Pinho (82, T-33rd), Jack Johnson (88, T-49th) and Niko Hatz (90, 53rd). As a team, AC had a 331 collective score for ninth.
