ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Adrian College men's wrestling team hosted crosstown rival Siena Heights University on Saturday evening in a non-conference dual. The Bulldogs rolled through the Saints beating them by a score of 46-3.
Zach Phifer began the day at 125 with a quick pin in 39 seconds in his collegiate debut to put the Bulldogs up 6-0.
Tyler Davis followed up it with a win by decision in a 14-11 battle to add three to Adrian's score.
Zachary Platte finished his day at 141 with major decision win at 15-7 to lead 13-0.
Siena Heights picked up its first win at 149 defeating
Trentton Wortham by a 10-6 decision.
Michael Pizzo picked up a fall in 1:28 to give the Bulldogs the momentum again. At 165,
Zach Altman won by tech fall with a score of 17-2 to lead 24-3.Â
The Bulldogs went on to win the next three bouts by forfeit making it a 42-3 score.
Donald Moses wrestled at 285 to end the day and won by major decision, 12-2 to end the night.
Adrian extends its dual winning streak to four consecutive wins and will return at the Kalahari Duals next weekend. Next weekend's duals will take place on Saturday, December 18 where the Bulldogs will wrestle Otterbein University, Heidelberg University, Baldwin Wallace University, and Mount St. Joseph University.
