ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Adrian College Men's ACHA Division 1 hockey team gathered two big wins over the weekend, taking down in-state rivals, the University of Michigan-Dearborn, 3-2 on Thursday night at home and GLCHL opponent, Grand Valley State University, 7-1 on the road Saturday night.

Sophomore goaltender,
Noah Decottignies, earned both wins in goal for the Bulldogs, stopping 31-of-33 shots on Thursday and 34-of-35 shots on Saturday. Junior forward,
Matteo DiGiulio finished the weekend with four points, while Senior defenseman,
Dakota Bohn, provided a goal and two assists in Saturday's dominant win, which puts the MD1 Bulldogs at 3-0 in conference play to start the season.

Next weekend's match up will feature the MD1 Bulldogs and the Liberty University Flames for a two-game series at the Arrington Ice Arena, Friday night (7:00PM) and Saturday afternoon (1:00PM). The two teams have faced off numerous times over the past four seasons, setting the stage for what will be an entertaining and intense rivalry weekend.
