FOND DU LAC, Wis. -- The Adrian College Men's ACHA Division 2 hockey team traveled to Wisconsin this past weekend for a neutral site showcase, hosted by Marian University, where they won three of three contests. The team took down Davenport University in their first match-up on Friday night, winning 6-2. They then battled Dakota College at Bottineau in a 4-3 shootout win on Saturday, and then capped it off on Sunday afternoon with a 5-4 win over hosts, Marian University.

Game one saw freshman forward, Sam Carper, pot his first two collegiate goals while Anderson O'Connor,
Dominic Melone,
Willie McGuire and team captain
Dominick Yamarino rounded out the scoring in the 6-2 win. Freshman goaltender,
Petr Sup, stopped 31 of 33 shots, earning his first collegiate win in goal.

Game two resulted in a 4-3 shootout win for the Bulldogs, who received a goal from senior forward
Matyas Mach in the first period, and two more from senior forward
Dominic Melone, including one while shorthanded. Junior forward
Will Nicholson provided the shootout winner, while sophomore goaltender Daniel Fielding made an astonishing 55 saves on 58 shots to earn his first win of the season.

To close out the weekend, the team squeezed out another win, this time taking down Marian University, 5-4. Goals came from
Sincere Toto (first collegiate goal),
Matyas Mach,
Dominick Yamarino,
Willie McGuire and Sam Carper who potted the game winner with just over four minutes to play in the game. Freshman goaltender, Alex Herman, turned away 33 of 37 shots for his second win of the season.
