ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Adrian College Women's ACHA D1 hockey team opened up their season with a two-game home set over the weekend, taking on the Culver Girls Academy in an exhibition tune-up and the University of Michigan Wolverines in their opening CCWHA conference match-up.
The Bulldogs, who are entering their season with a whole new coaching staff, six incoming freshmen and two transfers, started off strong with a 4-3 loss to the Culver Girls Academy, in a close and exciting game. The WD1 Bulldogs are set to take on the Concordia University-Ann Arbor Cardinals, in a CCWHA match-up, this Thursday at 8:00PM in Ann Arbor, then return home to the Arrington Ice Arena for another exhibition tune-up against Gilmour Academy on Friday night at 7:00PM.
