ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Adrian College Men's ACHA Division 3 hockey team opened their season with a one-sided 10-2 home victory over the Kent State Golden Flashes on Saturday, October 1st.
Senior forward and team captain,
Ryan Pinho, led the way for the Bulldogs with three goals and four assists on the night, while sophomore goaltender,
Rex Goldberg, made 29 stops to earn his first collegiate win in goal.
The Bulldogs then traveled to Kent State the next day to close out the series, but ended up coming home with a 9-3 loss.
The team will be looking to follow up their 1-1 start to the season, when they take on the University of Michigan-Flint Wolverines this upcoming weekend. Puck drop on Saturday will be at 8:00PM in Flint, and Sunday's puck drop at 4:00PM at the beautiful Arrington Ice Arena.
