The Bulldogs and Flames battled back and forth, trading goals right until the final buzzer in an entertaining game one on Friday afternoon. The Bulldogs had outshot the Flames 40-30 in the contest, but with the game tied at 5-5 with less than five minutes to play, the Flames were able to pot one late and squeeze out the victory. Defenseman
Kenna Goodwin, and forwards
Erika McDonald, Gabby Jex, Keira Eagleson and Hailey Wiltshire provided the offense for the Bulldogs. Goaltender Judith Schneider made 24 saves in the effort. The two teams then clashed again on Saturday morning, with the Liberty Flames coming out on top once more.
