ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Adrian College Women's ACHA Division 1 hockey team took care of business over the weekend, sweeping Davenport University by scores of 17-0 and 20-0.
The Bulldogs provided no shortage of offense during the series, highlighted by hat-tricks from forwards Keira Eagleson, Neleh Wood, Gabby Jex, and Ashlynn Stitt in Thursday's game, and hat-tricks from forward Tess McKerrow, defenseman
Kenna Goodwin, and a four goal performance from defenseman Gianna Miranda in Saturday's game. Freshman forward Macy Piche finished the weekend with eight points, including her first career collegiate goal in Thursday's match-up. Goaltenders Chloe Burt and
Reid Bahr each earned a win between the pipes.
The WD1 Bulldogs will be riding their hot streak into the upcoming weekend as they welcome heated rivals, the Liberty University Flames to the Arrington Ice Arena for two games. Puck drop on Friday at 3:00 PM. Puck drop on Saturday at 11:00 AM.
