ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Adrian College Men's ACHA Division 2 hockey team swept Bowling Green State University this past weekend, handling the Falcons, 7-3 at home, and 5-3 on the road.
Thursday night's matchup saw the Bulldogs receive goals from forwards
Griffin Clark,
Ryan Hoover,
Dominic Melone,
Matyas Mach,
Jiri Sup, and two from defenseman
Steven Cope. Two of the Bulldog goals came on the powerplay, while one other came while shorthanded.
Shaun Potts and
Willie McGuire each picked up three assists in the contest. Goaltender
Danny Fielding made 43 saves in the victory.
The Bulldogs and Falcons then faced off at the Slater Family Ice Arena in Bowling Green, Ohio on Friday night to close out the series, which resulted in an Adrian sweep.

Alexander Herman made 40 saves for his fourth win of the season.
The MD2 Bulldogs welcome Northern Michigan University to the Arrington Ice Arena for a two-game series this Saturday and Sunday. Puck drops go for 9:45 PM and 4:00 PM.
