ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Adrian College Men's ACHA Division 3 hockey team was swept by Lawrence Tech over the weekend, falling 5-0 on Saturday and 5-2 on Sunday.
The Bulldogs managed only eleven shots on goal in the first contest against their conference opponents and gave up 59 shots. Goaltender
Luc Miklos made 54 saves in the loss.
Sunday resulted in a closer game but it was LTU who squeezed out another win. Captain
Evan Bliss collected a goal and an assist in the game while
Travis Symons scored his second of the season and added an assist for the Bulldogs.
Antonio Briggs-Blake and
Brian Tanner also collected helpers in Sunday's matchup. Goaltender
Rex Goldberg made 38 saves in goal.
The MD3 Bulldogs will host Arizona State University on Friday afternoon at 3:00 PM at the Arrington Ice Arena, then travel to University of Michigan-Flint on Saturday night for a 7:30 PM puck drop at the Crystal Field House in Burton, Michigan.
