ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Adrian College Men's ACHA Division 2 hockey team lost for the first time this season as they split their home series with Lake Superior State University on Friday and Saturday. The Bulldogs and Lakers both captured 4-1 wins.
The Bulldogs won game one on Friday on goals from Brayden Morris,
Jack Kraemer,
Tyler Ackerman, and
Ryan Hutcheson who scored his first ACHA goal in the contest. Adrian out shot Lake Superior 45-28 in the game, earning their eleventh win in a row to start the season. Goaltender
Peyton Lenger made 27 saves in the victory.
The Lakers got revenge on Saturday, flipping the script to win it 4-1.
Willie McGuire scored the lone goal for Adrian while Lenger took the loss in goal.
The MD2 Bulldogs will be back at it on November 4-5 when they play Indiana Tech in a home and home series. Puck drops at 7:00 PM and 1:00 PM.
