ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Adrian College Men's ACHA Division 2 hockey team swept the University of Michigan over the weekend, improving to 6-0 to start the 2023-2024 season.
The Bulldogs opened the series with the Wolverines at home on Thursday night, holding on to win 5-4. Goals from
Will Nicholson,
Sam Carper x2,
Greg Obrycki, and
Jack Kraemer solidified the Adrian win. Goaltender,
Alexander Herman, made 25 saves to earn the victory in between the pipes.
The two teams finished their series on Friday night at Yost Arena in Ann Arbor, with the Bulldogs coming out on top, 4-3 in overtime.

Zach Skinner and
Shaun Potts tallied for Adrian before the extra frame, but it was Potts who scored again in overtime to secure Adrian's sixth win in a row. Goaltenders, Herman and
Petr Sup, both saw action in the game.
The MD2 Bulldogs will continue their strong start to the season with a home and home series this coming week with Concordia University (MI) on October 12-13. Both puck drops will be at 7:30 PM.
