Men's Golf Struggles Through Tough Conditions in Non-Conference Contest

DEARBORN, Mich. – The Adrian College men's golf team competed in a non-conference tournament hosted by Spring Arbor University at TPC Michigan. The tournament consisted of two rounds of 18 holes in one day. The Bulldogs totaled a two-round score of 660 after shooting 329 in round one and 331 in round two.
 
Christian Long led the way with a two-round total of 159. Long shot 81 to open the day followed by a 78 in round two. Gabe Campbell and Cameron Bozyk each shot 166 for the two rounds. Campbell shot 84 in the opening round and 82 in the second round. Bozyk shot an 81 and an 85. Joe Renfer shot 169 with scores of 83 and 86 followed by Hendrik de Koning at 175. Mason Gurney played as an individual where he shot 182 with scores of 93 and 89.
 
The Bulldogs will end the fall season on Wednesday, October 11 when they travel to Medalist in Marshall, Michigan for the final MIAA Jamboree of the season. The Bulldogs will tee off a 1:00 PM.
