ADRIAN, Mich. -- The No. 3 Adrian College Women's ACHA Division 1 hockey team battled Miami University-Ohio over the weekend, shutting out the Redhawks twice, 3-0.
The Bulldogs got goals from
Rhea Peterson,
Mackenzie Parent, and
Keira Eagleson in game one on Saturday along with six saves from
Jordan Hunt to secure the shutout victory on the road.
In game two on Sunday,
Ashlynn Stitt,
Makenzie Villiard, and
Macy Piche provided the scoring, while
Allison Shaw collected two assists. Hunt shut the door again, stopping 16 shots in the win.
The WD1 Bulldogs will next be in action on December 2-3 when they take on Penn State University in another CCWHA conference match-up. Puck drops at 7:00 PM on the Saturday and 1:00 PM on the Sunday, both at the Arrington Ice Arena.
