ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Adrian College Men's ACHA Division 2 hockey team collected their 19th win of the season after sweeping Davenport University this weekend to wrap up the first semester schedule. The Bulldogs collected 6-3 and 5-4 wins over the Panthers in the home and home series.
The two teams met in Grand Rapids on Friday night, with the Bulldogs coming out on top thanks to a hat-trick from
Tyler Hissong and goals from
Michael Tucker,
Shaun Potts, and
Griffin Clark. Goaltender
Petr Sup earned the win in net for the Bulldogs.
It was a quick turnaround on Saturday as the Bulldogs and Panthers met at the Arrington Ice Arena at 11:00 AM to close out the series.

Jack Kraemer, and Potts provided the scoring while goaltender
Alexander Herman stopped 25 shots in the Bulldog victory.
Brayden Morris collected four assists in the game as well.
The MD2 Bulldogs finish the semester with a 19-1 record and currently sit 7th in the ACHA Men's Division 2 Central Region. The team will be back in play in mid-January 2024 when they travel to Illinois State University for two games.Â
