Tiffin, Ohio. – The Adrian College women's wrestling team beat 17th-ranked Tiffin University 29-17 Thursday evening after exceptional performances across the board.
Starting off in the 116 class, senior
Angela LoRusso defeated Leah Pekar (Tiffin University) via fall. Tonight, LoRusso continued her consistency following up on a third-place finish in last weekend's Indiana Tech Warrior Women's Open.
In the 136 class, junior
Shawna Oesterling defeated Michal Buska via fall and in the 155 class and senior
Megan Vondrasek won via decision over Erin Martin. With her win today, Oesterling captured her 25th career victory (via trackwrestling as of 2/2/23).
Additionally,
Laila Oribello of the 123 class,
Aspen Dodge of the 170 class, and
Yamilex Perez of the 191 class secured victories for the Bulldogs this evening.
