LAGRANGE, Ga. – The Adrian College baseball team couldn't seem to figure it out on Tuesday night as they took on a tough LaGrange College team. Adrian struck early in the game, but went silent the rest of the way. The Bulldogs fall to 1-3 on the season after a 12-3 loss to LaGrange.
The Bulldogs took advantage of the bases loaded in the second inning. Freshman
Jakob Charles hit a fly ball to right field which gave the outfielder trouble allowing Adrian to clear the bases and lead 3-0.
It was all LaGrange the rest of the way. LaGrange responded with five runs in the second to take a 5-3 lead. They went on to added three in the sixth, two in the seventh, and two in the eighth.
Adrian totaled just four hits on the night while LaGrange collected 18.
Lincoln Lipinski had a solid outing in his first collegiate appearance. Lipinski went three innings on the mound allowing no runs with two hits and three strikeouts.
