PORTAGE, Mich. – The Adrian College men's golf team had a successful Monday at the Steven Tyler Memorial Tournament hosted by Kalamazoo College. Adrian finished second out of nine teams with a total score of 308.
Hendrik de Koning won another individual championship by shooting a 72 during the tournament.
Joe Renfer tied for second with a 73 on the day followed by
Ryan Van Eyk placing 14
th with an 80.
Trevor Benoit and
Joe Kowatch each shot an 83 to round out the top 5.
Gabe Campbell led the individuals with an 83 which was followed by
Christian Long with an 84.
The Bulldogs will compete in the MIAA Automatic Qualifier on the road for its their next contest on Saturday, April 15 at 1PM hosted by Trine University.
