MARIETTA, Ohio – The Adrian College rowing team competed at the Head of the Muskingum on Saturday hosted by Marietta College. The Bulldogs had another successful weekend led the by the Women's Varsity 4.
The Women's Varsity 4 consisting of
Kaitlyn Kimble,
Celeste Fellberg,
Gwyneth Schmitz,
Gianna Morreale, and
Giavanna Stella won the gold medal defeating rival opponent and host, Marietta College. The women came in with a time of 21:37 defeating Marietta by 14 seconds.
The Adrian College Men's Collegiate 2x earned a silver medal in the event after
Evan Barletta and
Franco Van Oordt rowed to a time 18:27. The Men's Collegiate 2- also earned a silver medal after
Kade Doyle and
Keegan Wade posted a time of 20:09.
The Women's Varsity 4 will travel to Boston, Massachusetts to compete in the Head of the Charles on Friday, October 18.
