ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Adrian College Men's ACHA Division 2 hockey team played games in three nights this past week, coming out with two wins over Trine and a loss to Michigan State. The Bulldogs also honored their Senior Class of 2024 before the game on Saturday night at the Arrington Ice Arena.

Cole Weber, and
Joey Finfer were collectively honored for their efforts and achievements over their four-year Adrian College careers.
The Bulldogs opened their week with a home game against Michigan State. In a high offensive game, the Spartans would ultimately prevail as they buried the Bulldogs by a 6-3 score, handing Adrian only their second loss of the season.

Steven Cope, and
Shaun Potts found twine for the Bulldogs in the defeat while goaltender,
Peyton Lenger, stopped 22 of 28 shots in between the pipes.
Adrian turned around and hit the road to Angola, Indiana on Friday night where they eventually bested the Thunder, 4-1. Potts,
Greg Obrycki, McGuire, and
Max Cohen provided the scoring in front of goaltender
Petr Sup, who made 29 saves on the 30 shots he faced for the victory in net.Â
Saturday evening saw the two rivals back at it again, this time in Adrian for the team's Senior Night game. After a successful pre-game ceremony honoring their Seniors, the Bulldogs followed it up with a shutout performance, completing the sweep over Trine.
Marcus Mack and
Brayden Morris both scored on the power play while Sup earned his ninth win and second shutout of the year, stopping all 32 shots faced.
The MD2 Bulldogs, who currently stand at 23-2-0 and No. 5 in the ACHA MD2 Central Region, will face off against Michigan State again on February 9 at 7:00 PM in East Lansing.
