HUDSONVILLE, Mich. – The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) announced the preseason poll for the 2024 upcoming women's lacrosse season. The Adrian College women's lacrosse team was projected to finish in eighth place with eight points in the voting.
In a preseason poll of eight teams within the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) women's lacrosse coaches, Hope College was predicted to finish first in the conference after receiving seven first-place votes and a total of 49 points.
The Bulldogs would finish up the 2023 campaign with a conference record of 0-7 and an overall record of 5-10. Adrian welcomes back junior attackers
Zoe Weber and
Maggie Bean and senior defender
Mey Sun. Weber scored 22 goals while Bean would score 11 of her own as well. Both Weber and Bean are the leading returning scorers for the Bulldogs.
Mey Sun is the leading returner in groundballs with 36 and caused turnovers with 33.
The 2024 MIAA Women's Lacrosse Tournament will begin with the semifinals on Wednesday, May 1, followed by the championship contest on Saturday, May 4. The winner will receive an automatic berth to the NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Championship which will begin May 11-12.

The Bulldogs will begin their season on Wednesday, February 21 at 7:00 PM inside Docking Stadium against Ohio Northern University and then follow it up with seven more non-conference games before MIAA play begins. Adrian's first MIAA conference game will be on April 6 at home against Trine University.
