WD1 Hockey Wins Final Game of Season to Secure First National Championship in Program History

MARYLAND HEIGHTS, MO. -- The Adrian College Women's Division 1 hockey team has clinched its first ACHA National Championship in program history after defeating Minot State in the final game of the season on Sunday! The Bulldogs downed the Beavers by a 4-1 score to clinch Adrian College's second national title this week!

The win comes days after the Adrian College Men's Division 1 hockey team clinched its third national title in program history. This marks the first time that the same school has won the ACHA National Championship at the Women's Division 1 and Men's Division 1 level in the same season since 2010.

Macy Piche and Tyla Turnbull would each pot two goals in the win to secure the victory. Goaltender, Chloe Burt, stired away 27 shots to lead her team to glory. After the game, Piche would eventually be named the Tournament's Most Valuable Player for her efforts.

A historic week for the Adrian College Bulldogs, as your Women's Division 1 hockey team are first-time National Champions!
