ALLENDALE, Mich. – The Adrian College men's golf team competed in the Hope College Spring Invitational on Friday and Saturday. The Bulldogs fired a 318 on day one and a 319 on day two to total a 637 for the tournament. Adrian placed third out of seven teams.
Hendrik de Koning led the Bulldogs with a two-day score of 156 by shooting 77 on Friday and 79 on Saturday.
Cameron Bozyk shot 79 and 78 to total 157 followed by back-to-back rounds of 81 from
Christian Long and
Gabe Campbell to finish the tournament with a 162.
Ryan Van Eyk rounded out the starting five with an 83 on Friday and an 82 on Saturday to shoot 165.
Joe Renfer played as an individual over the weekend shooting 83 and 80 for a two-day score of 163.
The Hope College Spring Invitational was Adrian's final tune-up before the MIAA Spring Final on April 26-27. Adrian College will serve as host of the tournament at Legacy Golf Course in Ottawa Lake, Michigan.
