ANGOLA, Ind. – The Adrian College baseball team traveled to Trine University on Tuesday afternoon for game two of the three-game set with the Thunder. The Bulldogs offense came to play ending the game in seven innings by a 14-3 score. Adrian moves to 6-1 in MIAA play.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• Adrian jumped on the board in the top of the third on an RBI ground out from Jakob Charles and an RBI single from Nic Bruder to lead 2-0.
• In the fourth inning, Edward Wagner hit a solo home run which was later followed by an RBI double from Easton Rogers and an RBI single from Jack Boike to lead 5-0. Trine responded with a pair of runs in the bottom of the inning.
• With the bases loaded in the sixth, Wagner drove in three on double. Travis Liford scored on a fielding error later in the inning followed by a 2-RBI double from Boike.
• In the seventh, Kedrow, Rogers, and Boike all singled in a run to lead 14-2. Trine scored one in the bottom of the inning on a sacrifice fly.

TOP DAWGS

• Boike led the offense with a 4-for-4 performance with four RBIs. Rogers, Wagner, Bruder, and Casale all added two hits. Wagner also finished the day with four RBIs.
• Landon Kolowski picked up his second win of the season throwing four innings allowing one earned run on three hits. Ambrose Horwath and Ben Bates threw scoreless innings in relief.
