HARROD, Ohio – The Adrian College men's golf team competed in a two-day tournament hosted by Ohio Northern that concluded on Monday. The Bulldogs shot 321 on Sunday followed by a 302 on Monday to finish with a 623 as a team and place third in the tournament.
Cameron Bozyk led the Bulldogs and won the tournament as an individual totaling a 149 for the two days. Bozyk shot 78 on Sunday followed by a 71 on Monday before winning a 1-hole playoff to be named the tournament champion.
Christian Long and
Sam Sawyer finished tied for ninth in the tournament totaling a two-day score of 154. Long finished Sunday with an 82 before shooting 72 on Monday. Sawyer finished the tournament with a pair of 77's.
Joe Renfer fired a 158 for the two days after shooting 78 and 80 while
Carter Klawonn shot 83 and 79 to finish with a 162.
Mason Gurney rounded out the team with a 163 after shooting 83 and 80.
The Bulldogs will return to the course on Monday, September 9 when they host a "B Team" tournament at the Tecumseh Golf Club. Monday's tournament will begin at 1:00 PM.
