ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Adrian College Men's ACHA Division 3 hockey team suffered a sweep at the hands of No. 4 Oakland University over the weekend, dropping games by 10-1 and 6-1 scores.
The Bulldogs couldn't keep themselves out of the penalty box over the two-game set, committing 21 different infractions. Oakland, being a top team in the nation, was able to capitalize and earn the sweep.
Adrian goals on the weekend came from
Henry Darnell and
Devin Bennett.
Rex Goldberg stood in goal for the Bulldogs in both games, stopping 104 pucks on 120 shots faced over a busy workload.
The MD3 Bulldogs currently stand at 8-9 on the season and will face-off against University of Michigan-Flint next weekend in another MCHC conference dual.
