ADRIAN, MICH— The Adrian College ACHA Division I women's hockey team battled hard through their weekend series against Midland University at Arrington Ice Arena in a top 10 match up but came up short in both contests. Despite generating strong stretches of offensive pressure, the Bulldogs couldn't find the finishing touch needed to secure a win, falling Thursday evening 4-2 and Friday afternoon 2-1 in overtime.

Mya Reyes picked the puck up for a 2 on 1 with Young. Reyes passed it over to Young to tie the game up at 1. The rest of the game went scoreless, which resulted in overtime. Just one minute and nineteen seconds into overtime, Midland took home the sweep.
The Bulldogs will look to bounce back as they are hosting another top 10 match up Thursday and Friday against Minot State University.
