ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Adrian College Men's ACHA Division 2 hockey team hosted Indiana Tech Saturday afternoon in their home opener and traveled to Indiana Tech Sunday afternoon. The Bulldogs grabbed a huge 12-1 win at home Saturday and completing the sweep Sunday on the road with a 5-0 win.
Sophomore
Bazl Cook lead the Bulldogs to victory over the weekend with four goals and an assist for a collected five points on the weekend.
The Bulldogs came out hard to open up the home crowd Saturday afternoon, taking the 4-0 lead in just the first period. Goals coming from senior

Gabe Arteaga, junior
Brady DesMadryl, and Cook. Cook went on to put two more goals in the back of the net in the second period to give himself the hattrick. Senior
Shaun Potts, junior
Michael Tucker, and DesMadryl tallied goals of their own in the second period. In the third period, Desmadryl also completed his hattrick. Juniors
Tyler Ackerman and
Jack Kraemer closed out the game with a pair themselves. Freshmen goaltender,
Lorenzo Culasso making his first start as a Bulldog, recorded 12 saves on 13 shots from teh Warriors.
After a dominate victory the day before, the Bulldogs only went up 1-0 in the first period with Ackerman putting it away. Freshmen
Dylan Braun tallied two goals in the second period, with Cook grabbing a goal himself. To close out the game, junior
Tyler Hissong put one in the back of the net in the third period.
With the Bulldogs earning their first wins of the season this weekend, they now sit at a 2-1 record. The MD2 Bulldogs will be back in action Thursday and Friday with a home-and-home series against Ohio University. Puck drop set at 10:00pm on Thursday at home and 3:00pm on Friday on the road.
