WINONA LAKE, Ind. - The Adrian College women's rugby team hit the road in dominant fashion on Saturday afternoon, sweeping Grace College in a duo of shutout victories.
The Bulldogs wasted no time asserting themselves, opening the day with a 48-0 win. They followed it up with a commanding 43-0 performance and closed out the sweep with a 22-5 victory to finish 3-0 on the day.
Jersey Wilson and Joise Hause led the offensive charge with four tries each across the two matches. Madisyn McDonald added three tries of her own and with eight conversion attempts, contributing significantly to Adrian's point totals. Abigail Raftis and Jorja Pennington scored two tries to round out the scoring.
The Bulldogs will be back in action on Saturday, October 11th, when they travel to Indianapolis, Indiana, to face Indiana University.
