ADRIAN, Mich. - The Adrian College women's bowling team turned in a strong weekend of competition at the Halo Classic and the AC Open. Highlighting the weekend was an outstanding performance from Victoria McLaughlin, who captured first place in the individual standings at the Halo Classic with a score of 561.
As a team, the Bulldogs finished third overall at the Halo Classic with a total of 3,602 pins. McLaughlin's stellar effort led the way, while Alina Wilgus followed closely behind in sixth place with a 479 series. Alina Gallardo finished 17th with 395, Mara Knochs placed 19th with 388, and Shelby Goodman took 22nd with 292. Rounding out the lineup, Carley Krauss bowled a 285 for 24th, and Bailey Shulters added a 268 for 26th.
At the AC Open, Knochs led the Bulldogs with a 455 series, while McLaughlin posted a 444. Wilgus contributed a solid 437, and Krauss added 422 to complete the scoring for Adrian.
