WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The Adrian College men's golf team participated in a two-day tournament this past weekend at The Ruckus in Virginia. The Bulldogs finished 6th out of 11 teams with a two-day total of 595. Adrian opened the tournament with a 301 on Saturday, followed by a 294 on Sunday to close out the event.
Cameron Bozyk earned co-champion honors after finishing at -2 for the tournament, posting back-to-back rounds of 71 to total 142. Zayn Spidalieri finished 17th overall at +5, shooting 77 on Saturday and 72 on Sunday for a total of 149. Carter Klawonn placed 29th with a score of 155, following a 73 on Saturday and an 82 on Sunday. Jaden Eggers tied for 31st with a two-day total of 157, while Joe Renfer finished tied for 34th with a score of 158.
Max Gavric played as the team's individual competitor, finishing tied for 25th with rounds of 78 and 76 for a total of 154.
The Bulldogs will return to action in two weeks at the Hope College Spring Invitational, which will be held April 11-12 at The Meadows.
