Tess McKerrow and Allison Shaw of WD1 Hockey Tabbed ACHA All-Americans for Second-Straight Season

TROY, Mich. -- The American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) released its All-American honors for the 2024-25 Women's Division 1 season on Tuesday afternoon. Two Bulldogs, Tess McKerrow and Allison Shaw, of the Adrian College Women's ACHA Division 1 hockey team were both worthy of the honor for the second straight year.

McKerrow and Shaw were both named First Team All-Americans in their national championship-winning campaign one year ago. This time around, McKerrow found herself on the First Team once again, while Shaw, a finalist for last year's Player of the Year Award, was named to the Second Team.

The Co-Captains of the Bulldogs have been key contributors and leaders for Adrian over their careers. Each of them sit atop multiple stat categories every season and eat crucial minutes for the Bulldogs in all situations. McKerrow, Shaw, and company recently clinched the CCWHA Conference Championship for the seventh year in a row and will enter the ACHA National Championship Tournament as the No. 3 seed, looking to defend their title in two weeks.

McKerrow (Senior Forward - Kitchener, Ontario) currently leads her team in scoring with 40 points in 37 games played. The Canadian has racked up 13 goals and 27 assists in her final season so far, with hopes to continue her strong play into the national tournament.

Shaw (Senior Defenseman - Belle River, Ontario) sits sixth on the team in total scoring and first in production by defensemen. The offensive juggernaut has provided 11 goals and 10 assists for 21 points so far this season, and will be leaned on to help lead her Bulldog teammates on her final championship run.

Catch the WD1 Bulldogs in action at the National Championships beginning on March 17 in St. Louis, Missouri.
