ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College NCSA D1 Softball team went on the road to face off against Indiana Tech in a double-header. Despite hard efforts from the Bulldogs in both contests, they ultimately would fall short in both games, going 0-2 on the day against the Warriors.

GAME 1
In the first matchup of the day, Adrian would face an early deficit, as the Warriors would jump out to an early 7-0 lead after three innings. The Bulldogs would bounce back for two runs in the fourth inning, where Indiana Tech would score another, as well. The fifth inning saw two more runs scored for the Warriors. The Bulldogs wouldn't let off, scoring three runs in the sixth. Adrian would add one more run in the seventh, but this wouldn't be enough as Indiana Tech took the first game, 6-10.

Sara Kozel would bring in two runs off her own off of four at-bats. Both
Elizabeth Grady and
Michelle Huffman would round out the scoring with one run each.

GAME 2
In a repeat of the first game, the Warriors would hold an early lead after three innings, going up 5-0. The Bulldogs would respond in the fourth inning with five runs of their own to tie it up, but Indiana Tech would follow with one of their own, closing out the inning with a 6-5 lead. By adding one more run in the sixth, that would be enough for the Warriors to close out the day with another victory, winning the second game 7-5.
Greer Simpson would do a little bit of everything, scoring one run off of two hits, while also driving in one RBI for the Bulldogs.
Michelle Huffman would also go for one run with one RBI.Â

The Bulldogs are left with short rest as they return to action this Saturday to face the University of Michigan on the road, kicking off the 2025 Great Lakes Regional Tournament, beginning at 12:00 PM.
