DECATUR, Ill. – The Adrian College men's golf team wrapped up its final tune-up ahead of the MIAA Spring Final, competing in a 20-team tournament in Illinois and finishing 12th overall. The Bulldogs posted a two-day team total of 606, opening with a 307 on day one and improving to a 299 on day two.
Cameron Bozyk led the way for Adrian, carding a two-day total of 146. He fired a one-under-par round on Friday and followed with a 75 on Saturday. Joe Renfer bounced back from an opening-round 80 with a strong 72 in round two to finish at 152. Jackson Colaner recorded scores of 83 and 73 for a total of 156, while Carter Klawonn posted rounds of 78 and 79 to finish at 157. Jaden Eggers rounded out the starting lineup with a two-day score of 161, shooting 78 and 83.
Competing individually, Michael Shubeck shot rounds of 86 and 89 to finish at 175.
The Bulldogs will conclude their season at the MIAA Spring Final, held May 7–8 in Coldwater, Michigan.
