Club Baseball Splits Series Versus the Hillsdale Chargers to Conclude Their Season

ADRIAN, Mich. – To conclude the 2024-2025 season, the Adrian College NCBA D1 baseball team played a double-header against Hillsdale College. The Bulldogs would win the first game 6-0, but would drop the second game against the Chargers, 12-14, resulting in a series split.

GAME ONE:
Jumping out to an early 2-1 lead was the Bulldogs after just the first inning, and they would remain comfortable with the lead, while adding four more runs in the third inning. This would secure a 6-0 victory over the Chargers in their opening game of the day. Connor Davies contributed two runs, driving in 1 RBI. Tyler Hall also drove in 2 RBIs of his own.

GAME TWO:
Hillsdale and Adrian had an intense game two. Hillsdale took an early 3-2 lead, but Adrian came back to take a 7-6 lead by the bottom of the third inning. Hillsdale tied it up in the fourth, and it was neck-and-neck until the seventh inning. Hillsdale scored three runs to Adrian's one, clinching a 14-12 victory. Joe Postma does a little bit of everything in this one, scoring two runs with two hits, while also driving in two RBI's. Corwin Allen also drove in a game high 3 RBIs for the Bulldogs. Connor Davies, Ty Perin, and Nate Lindner would all add two runs to the high scoring column, as well.
