COLDWATER, Mich. – The Adrian College men's golf team concluded its 2024-25 season on Thursday afternoon with a strong showing at the MIAA Spring Finale. The Bulldogs finished second out of eight teams in the two-day tournament, posting a 306 on Wednesday and a 302 on Thursday for a total score of 608.
Sophomore Cameron Bozyk claimed individual medalist honors, finishing at 3-under par after rounds of 71 and 70. Carter Klawonn earned a fourth-place finish with a two-day total of 150, bouncing back from a 79 on day one with an impressive 71 in round two. Joe Renfer tied for 12th, shooting a 75 and 79 for a 155 total. Jackson Colaner rounded out the team scoring with an 80 and 83 for a 163, while Jaden Eggers posted scores of 83 and 82 for a 165.
Michael Shubeck competed as an individual and placed 21st overall after carding rounds of 82 and 76 for a 158.
Bozyk was named the MIAA's 2025 Most Valuable Golfer and earned First Team All-MIAA honors after leading the conference with a scoring average of 72 over six league rounds. This is Bozyk's second All-MIAA honor, having earned Second Team recognition last season. Klawonn also earned Second Team All-MIAA accolades, finishing the season with a 75.67 average in conference play.
Adrian wraps up the season fourth overall in the MIAA standings, with a team scoring average of 301.50. The Bulldogs will return in Fall 2025, aiming to build on this year's success and contend for a conference championship.
