Adrian College Adds Rievert and Preston to Athletic Training Staff

ADRIAN, Mich. – Head Athletic Trainer Jamie Fetter has announced the addition of two new assistant athletic trainers to the Adrian College Sports Medicine team. Carlee Rievert and Leah Preston will join the staff for the 2025-26 academic year, expanding support for Bulldog athletics.

Carlee Rievert earned her bachelor's degree in Rehabilitation Medicine from Saginaw Valley State University in 2023 and went on to complete a Master's in Athletic Training at Indiana State University. During her academic and clinical training, Rievert gained experience at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, Indiana State University, and Purdue University. She also served as an Athletic Training Student Intern at Saginaw Valley during the 2022-23 season. Rievert holds certifications in Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens, BODPOD body composition analysis, Graston Technique, and Emergency Medical Response with BLS and Emergency Oxygen.

Leah Preston received her bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Michigan Technological University in 2022 before pursuing her Master's in Athletic Training at the University of Northern Colorado. While at Michigan Tech, she spent two seasons as a student intern in the athletic training office. Her graduate clinical rotations included time with the University of Northern Colorado and the University of Colorado Boulder, where she worked with the women's volleyball team. She also gained experience in the Recreation Injury Care Center. Preston is certified by the American Heart Association in BLS, AED, and CPR.

Rievert will provide coverage for the football, men's wrestling, club softball, and spring women's rugby teams. Preston will work with fall women's rugby, ACHA Men's Division I hockey, acrobatics and tumbling, and men's lacrosse.

With these additions, Adrian College continues to enhance its commitment to the health, safety, and performance of its student-athletes.
