ADRIAN, Mich. – USCHO and DIIIHockeyNews announced their postseason awards for NCAA Division III men's and women's hockey. The Adrian College men's hockey team earned two All-American honors from both organizations, along with a USCHO All-Rookie Team honorable mention, while the Adrian College women's hockey team collected four All-American selections from DIIIHockeyNews.
The DIIIHockeyNews postseason awards were nominated and voted on by members of its Top-15 Voting Committee, while USCHO announces postseason awards for NCAA Division III men's hockey.
For the women's team, Riley Johnson was named a First Team All-American by DIIIHockeyNews after previously earning AHCA First Team All-American honors. She was also a finalist for the Laura Hurd Award, the NCHA Co-Player of the Year, and an All-Conference selection. Johnson led the Bulldogs with 54 points on 23 goals and 31 assists.
Paige Pomerleau earned Second Team All-American honors from DIIIHockeyNews after being named a First Team All-American by the AHCA and earning NCHA All-Conference recognition. Pomerleau totaled 43 points on 23 goals and 20 assists.
Courtney Ben was selected as a Second Team All-American by DIIIHockeyNews after earning All-Conference honors. Ben finished the season with 42 points on 26 goals and 16 assists.
Kiera Stack received Third Team All-American honors from DIIIHockeyNews after earning Second Team AHCA All-American recognition and All-Conference honors. Stack posted a 21-6-0 record in goal with eight shutouts, a 1.30 goals-against average, and a .945 save percentage, totaling 553 saves.
From the men's team, Ian Amsbaugh was named a First Team All-American by both USCHO and DIIIHockeyNews. Amsbaugh also earned AHCA First Team All-American honors and was a finalist for the Sid Watson Award after being named the NCHA Player of the Year and earning All-Conference recognition. He led the nation in scoring with 49 points on 12 goals and 37 assists.
David Clarke earned First Team All-American honors from DIIIHockeyNews and Second Team honors from USCHO. Clarke led Adrian defensemen with 32 points on eight goals and 24 assists.
Rounding out the postseason honors, Nathaniel Bannister was named an honorable mention selection to the USCHO All-Rookie Team. In his freshman campaign, Bannister recorded 17 points on five goals and 12 assists, along with a team-best +32 plus-minus rating.
