KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The Adrian College cornhole team got the season started on Saturday at the University of Tennessee. Eight Bulldogs competed at the tournament.
The singles bracket featured 32 players. RJ Klair led the team with a third-place finish after knocking out fellow Bulldog Ethan Freeman in the semifinals. Freeman finished in fourth place.
Three doubles teams representing Adrian finished in a three-way tie for fifth place: RJ Flair and Ethan Freeman, Abby Trepkowski and Alex Weaver, and Aidan Sicilia and Zac Blaylock.
The teams bracket consisted of seven teams of four players. Adrian's team, made up of Alex Weaver, RJ Klair, Abby Trepkowski, and Ethan Freeman, took second place.
