2010 (Jr.): Appeared in 42 games, including 41 starts all at catcher...ranked seventh in NCAA Division III and led the MIAA with 11 sacrifice bunts...led the MIAA throwing out 13 potential base stealers...batted .319 with 38 hits in 119 at-bats...scored 21 runs and collected 30 RBI’s...ended the season with 10 multi-hit games and nine multi-RBI games...hit .417 (5-of-12) in the NCAA Regional...batted .368 with runners on base and .313 with runners in scoring position...drove in a season-high three runs against Alma in game one on Apr. 15...recorded six doubles and four homers while also drawing 10 walks...had a .378 on-base percentage and .471 slugging percentage...had a six-game hitting streak during the season and hit safely in his last three games...registered 231 putouts and 29 assists in the field for a .974 fielding percentage.

2009 (So.): Played in 43 of 44 games…had a .313 batting average…had eleven doubles in 2009… batted .500 with runners in scoring position…on March 14 went 3-for-3 in the first game of a doubleheader versus Ohio Northern University with two RBI’s…on April 2 in the first game of a doubleheader versus Kalamazoo College he went 2-for-2 with two RBI’s…went 7-for-11 with four RBI’s combined in both series with Olivet College in a double header on May 8 and a doubleheader on May 9 …was 34th in the nation in sacrifice bunts.

2008 (Fr.): Played in seven games as a reserve catcher…batted 1.000 with two hits in two at-bats…scored one run and also drove in a run…had 14 putouts and one assist behind the dish.

Personal: Majoring in earth science with a minor in history…born in Oregon, Ohio on December 9, 1988…son of Joe and Johanna Dubina…graduated from Canton South High School (Wildcats) in 2007…father, Joe Sr., was an All-American in track & field and cross country at Kent State University…earned four varsity letters in baseball…named First Team All-Northeastern Buckeye Conference as a catcher in 2007…won two district championships in high school…member of National Honor Society…favorite sports teams are the Atlanta Braves, Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes…favorite athletes are Javy Lopez, Chipper Jones and Antonio Gates…favorite TV shows are Family Guy and Jeopardy…favorite movies are Cinderella Man, Shutter Island and Signs...favorite musicians are Lupe Fiasco, 311 and Billy Joel.
