Entering the Season: Postseason awards candidate...chosen "preseason All-American" by NCAA Division III head coaches on the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper's 2018 Watch List...fourth-year starter, including three as the team's No. 1 pitcher...in the off-season before his junior campaign, he played for the Battle Creek Bombers of the Northwoods League, a summer collegiate wooden-bat circuit that has produced 100-plus Major League Baseball players...named in January as 2018 D3baseball.com Preseason All-America Honorable Mention choice...

2017 (Junior Year)

  • Repeated as Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Pitcher of the Year
  • Named to the ABCA/Rawlings All-America Third Team, as well as the D3baseball.com All-America Third Team
  • Tabbed as an ABCA/Rawlings All-Mideast First Team selection and D3baseball.com All-Mideast First Team Selection
  • Was the MIAA Co-Most Outstanding Pitcher of the Year for the second consecutive season after leading the conference with a 9-1 won-lost record and 79 strikeouts
  • Appeared in 13 games for the Bulldogs, making 12 starts and posting a 12-1 won-lost record with a 2.23 ERA and 101 strikeouts in 93.0 innings of work
  • His 12 victories and 14.43 strikeout-to- walk ratio were both best in the nation
  • Held batters to a .254 batting average posted a 9.77 strikeouts per game rate
  • Also finished second in the nation with 9 complete games and tenth in strikeouts
  • In addition to leading the MIAA in wins and strikeouts, he led the conference in games started, complete games, and innings pitched
  • Set Adrian College single season marks in wins, complete games, innings pitched, and batters faced (371), while tying the marks for strikeouts and shutouts (3)
  • At one point in the season went 44.2 innings without issuing a walk for what is believed to be a NCAA Division III all-time record (finished only seven walks on the season)
  • Named to the D3baseball.com National Team of the Week on March 7 th after throwing a complete game shutout in a 3-0 victory against Transylvania on March 4 th , allowing only two hits and striking out a personal-best 15 batters, which ranks among the top-four performances in school single-game history
  • Was the MIAA Pitcher of the Week four times during the course of the season, including the week of the conference tournament in which he went 2-0 over 12.0 innings of work, giving up only one run
  • Earned a spot on the 2016-2017 MIAA Academic Honor Roll
  • Began year on D3baseball.com Preseason All-America Second Team
  • Also named to the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper "Players to Watch" list, a de facto preseason All-America team endorsed by NCAA Division III members of the American Baseball Coaches' Association.

2016 (Sophomore Year)

  • Voted the MIAA Pitcher of the Year 
  • Postseason accolades included All-Mideast Region First Team nod from the ABCA and D3baseball.com
  • Led the MIAA with a career-best 9-2 won-lost record
  • Bulldogs ace who also established personal records with 82.2 innings pitched and a 2.18 earned-run average--both second in the conference
  • First-team All-MIAA
  • Walked only 11 batters while striking out 50 for another PR
  • Opponents hit just .212 (8th in the MIAA) against him while facing the most batters in the league
  • Three-time MIAA Pitcher of the Week (March 8, March 28, April 4) 
  • Also tabbed to the D3baseball.com Team of the Week on March 30, when he also was one of two honorable mention pitchers who received recognition from the National Collegiate Baseball Writers' Association
  • Threw the first no-hitter in the Craig Rainey coaching era with an 8-0 win over MIAA foe Olivet on March 25. He struck out seven Comets and walked just one. 

2015 (Freshman Year)

  • Started nine games with 12 total appearances on his way to an 8-1 record
  • Went six innings while giving up zero earned runs on eight hits on his way to recording a win against Calvin College in the MIAA Tournament Championship Game
  • Recorded a 3.10 ERA and had 28 strikeouts

  • Majoring in business management 
  • Born in Columbus, Ohio, on September 1, 1995, and he is the son of Robert Parsons
  • Prepped at New Albany High School, graduating in 2014
  • Played varsity baseball for coach Justin Grieger
  • Named second-team all-league in 2013 and was all-league first team and second-team all-district in 2014
  • Won Bob Talpas Scholarship Award for leadership
  • Favorite sports teams are the Ohio State Buckeyes and New York Yankees...athlete: Derek Jeter...TV show: Family Guy...movie: The Sandlot...musical group: Coldplay.
