Starting with his first season in 2021, Craig Prince will serve as a baseball assistant coach working with the Adrian College pitching staff and coordinate recruiting efforts.
Prince comes to Adrian after being on the 2020 Bluffton University coaching staff as a graduate assistant, where he was the pitching coach and strength and conditioning coordinator.
Prince went to Licking Valley High School in Hanover, Ohio, and he recently graduated from Otterbein University, receiving a bachelor's degree in business administration with a marketing minor in 2018. He is currently pursuing a MBA degree at Bluffton.
While at Otterbein, Prince was a three-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference pitcher and team captain. He was also named 2017 All-Mideast Region by both d3baseball.com and the American Baseball Coaches' Association during his junior season, leading the OAC with 94 strikeouts--the second-most for a single-season in Otterbein history, 88 innings pitched, 2.25 earned-run average and .216 opponents' batting average.
Prince worked for LaCorte Performance Training during his time at Otterbein, training and developing pitchers. His other coaching experience includes Ohio Elite Team U-15 pitching coach, Ohio Elite 2021 head coach in 2018 and 2019, 2020 Ohio Bison head coach of the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League. He now serves as the general manager for the Bison.Â
