2017 (Junior Year):

• Was an All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association First Team selection
• Played in a career-high 44 games for the Bulldogs, good for 10th in the MIAA
• Recorded 35 hits in 137 at-bats, driving in 21 runs while scoring 22 himself--all career highs
• Posted a solid .337/.402/373 slashline in 28 conference games
• Had a .993 fielding percentage in 294 total chances, throwing out seven runners caught stealing (T-7th in MIAA)
• Tied for second in the conference with seven sacrifice bunts
• Named the MIAA Position Player of the Week on April 3 after hitting .474 with six RBI
• Did not allow a passed ball in conference play

2016 (Sophomore Year):

• Played in 32 games while batting .260 with seven runs batted in.
• Walked 12 times to bolster .448 on-base percentage.
• Had .992 fielding percentage on 124 total chances.
• Threw out five runners caught stealing.

2015 (Freshman Year):

• Appeared in 25 games while making 20 starts behind the plate.
• Against Calvin on May 2, he had two doubles while batting in two runs and scoring twice himself as the Bulldogs went on to win 13-2.
• Had 16 hits and batted in nine runs, ending the season with a .291 batting average.

High School:

• Graduated from South Miami Senior High School in2014.
• Named team’s Most Valuable Player in 2013 junior year.
• Began prep career at Coral Gables High School for two years before going to South Miami.
• Won a district twice and was 2012 regional semifinalist wearing Coral Gables uniform.
• Played varsity baseball from 2011 to 2014.

Personal:

• Majoring in communications with a minor in Spanish
• Born in Rio Piedra, Puerto Rico on June 18, 1996 and his parents are Lourdes and Francisco
• Favorites:  sports teams--Miami Marlins, Miami Dolphins and Miami Heat; athletes-- Dwayne Wade, Yadier Molina and Ivan Rodriguez; TV shows--ESPN SportsCenter, 30 for 30 and E:60; movies--I Am Legend, The Breakfast Club and The Butterfly Effect; book-- The Great Gatsby; music acts--The Script, Maroon 5 and Drake.
