Biography
Born: April 6, 1999
Brodie Thornton is from Macomb Township, Michigan and spent five seasons with the Metro Jets in the United States Premier Hockey League before attending Adrian College in 2020.
Thornton was with the MD1 Bulldogs when they won the National Championship in 2021 and 2024. As a freshman, he was named to the GLCHL All-Rookie Team and was selected to the GLCHL All-Academic Team as a Junior and as a Senior. After the 2024 National Tournament, Thornton was named to the All-Tournament Honorable Mention team after piling up four assists in four games to help the Bulldogs clinch the national crown. In addition, upon the completion of his Senior season, Thornton signed a professional contract with the Binghamton Black Bears of the FPHL.
Brodie, otherwise known as "Brodes", has an appreciation for lawn care and is a member of the Adrian College Bowling team. Brodie studies Business Professional Sales and Cyber Security and is on track to graduate in the spring of 2024.
