Matteo Turrin is from Sainte-Barbe, Quebec, Canada and transferred to the MD1 Bulldogs in 2024 after beginning his collegiate career at Castleton University (NCAA DIII). Before he attended college, the Canadian had experience playing junior hockey in the Central Canadian Hockey League, the British Columbia Hockey League, and the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League.

Turrin played one season for Castleton before taking his talents to Adrian. In his first campaign with the Bulldogs, Turrin contributed offensively and physically, carrying a force up front that was able to produce 30 points in 36 games played as Adrian returned to the National Championship for the third consecutive season.

Matteo, who goes by "Teo", is a very tall man and a skilled musical DJ. He majors in Sports Management, minors in Psychology, and is on pace to graduate in 2027.
