Biography
Born: May 31, 1999
Matthew DiCesare is from Toronto, Ontario, Canada and spent four seasons in the Ontario Junior Hockey League with the Toronto Jr. Canadiens before coming to the Adrian College MD1 Bulldogs in 2021.
DiCesare was named to the GLCHL All-Rookie Team after his Freshman season in 2021-2022 and played for Team Canada at the 2023 World Cup of University Hockey in Romania after his Sophomore season. In 2023-24, DiCesare was named to the GLCHL All-Defensive team, playing a crucial role all season long in the 2024 National Championship run for the Bulldogs.
After his third season, DiCesare was named as an Assistant Captain for his Senior season, and helped carry the Bulldogs back to the National Championship in 2024-25, leading the team in goals and earning a GL6 Second Team accolade.
Matthew, otherwise known as "Cheese" or "Chezzo", is a food connoisseur and loves to cook. He studies Business Professional Sales and graduated in the spring of 2025.
