Sebastian Smith, from Pinckney, Michigan, spent four seasons playing for Pinckney High School before playing in the United States Prospect Hockey League for the Wooster Oilers prior to committing to Adrian College MD1 Bulldogs in 2021.

Sebastian played for Team USA at the 2023 World Cup of University Hockey in Romania. For his Junior season, Smith was named an Assistant Captain of the Bulldogs and helped lead the way to a National Championship title in 2024. He also earned GLCHL Second Team and ACHA All-Tournament Team honors for 2023-24, and after the season, was named as the team's Captain for 2024-25.

As a Senior, Smith carried the Bulldogs all season, leading the team in points while guiding them back to the National Championship game and clinching the first-ever GL6 Conference Playoff title. Smith was named a GL6 First Team recipient and an ACHA Third Team All-American in 2025. Smith also represented Team USA Ice Hockey at the 2025 FISU World University Winter Games in Torino, Italy. He helped Team USA clinch fourth-place, while leading the team in tournament scoring.

Sebastian, otherwise known as "Bubba", is a dual-sport athlete and also plays for the Adrian College Men's Tennis team. Sebastian studies Finance and graduated in the spring of 2025. He will be returning to the team for his Fifth Year in 2025-2026.

Senior (2024): 22 goals and 22 assists in 36 games played (GL6 First Team & ACHA All-American Third Team)
